  • Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
    but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.
  • Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

  • But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
  • In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.

Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
