and he relents from sending calamity. - And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
- Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
- Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon. - 'Return, faithless Israel,' declares the Lord,
'I will frown on you no longer,
for I am faithful,' declares the Lord,
'I will not be angry forever.' - But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
